Designed in collaboration with Dutch artist Ruben de Haas, the Mixing Pixels of Biophillia I rug by Moooi brings the vibrant language of nature into a digital-age artwork. Inspired by the natural world and the structure of pixels, this design features fluid, organic forms and drops of pure colour—from vivid red and emerald green to cobalt, ochre, and soft neutrals.

The result is an abstract yet harmonious composition that feels both energetic and serene. Each “pixel” becomes a brushstroke, each shape a reflection of nature’s diversity—designed to stimulate both the eye and the imagination.

Available in a wide range of sizes, from small to XXL, this rug works effortlessly in anything from compact living spaces to spacious interiors and creative environments.

Expertly designed and made in the Netherlands, it is printed in ultra-high resolution and available in Moooi’s signature finishes: Cashmere Polyamide for a silky feel, longer pile Polyamide for added softness, or a wool blend for a natural, warm texture.
