This collection of rugs is inspired by the sandy banks of New Jersey and Long Island that are formed by violent winds, thereby creating ridges and stripes in the sand as if they were abstract paintings. More than a century of craftsmanship is woven into every carpet that Louis de Poortere produces. Woven on jacquard looms with cotton chenille yarns, each carpet has multiple layers of texture, worn pieces and intricate stitching which creates a real Vintage Look.
